Through the generous sponsorship of family, friends and work colleagues,

Katrina, Etienne, Nick, Paul & Danny have raised £7,538 for Waves.

To that we can add £1,742 in Gift Aid,

giving a total of £9,280 – a record amount, so well done!

After the race the team met up at the De Vere Cavendish Hotel, just a short walk from the finish (5-10 mins).

There was access to changing and showering facilities in rooms provided for the runners, and a section in the first floor lounge area was reserved where some light refreshments were available for runners and their companions. 

The Trustees were there as hosts and taking photographs of the runners, with their medals.

It was fairly informal allowing the runners to meet and exchange race stories  – a nice relaxed meeting place rather than a party or special event.

Thanks to Andrew Coney, the Manager of the Cavendish, and his staff who looked after us so well and made us feel so welcome.
