On May 26^th 2008 we had a Waves runner in the

BUPA LONDON 10K

On a very wet Bank Holiday Monday James Syme, an old school friend of Kerrigan’s, took part in the very first BUPA LONDON 10K.

Running with his fiancée, Allanah, they finished in one piece, if a little wet!!!  James thought that the numbers for the race were a little down due to the weather but they both enjoyed the run and finished in the time they had set themselves.

James recommends this well organised event for new runners like himself. The flat course starts and finishes in St James Park and there were bands and music at every kilometre. Registration for the 2009 BUPA LONDON 10K opens later in the year. Visit www.london-marathon.co.uk
